Non-Registered Visitors and Registered Users

As a non-registered visitor, you can:

• Read Posts
• Search Topics
• Access content of the public groups

Upon registration, you unlock several features:

• Profile Creation: Build your custom profile with an avatar, description, social links, and more.
• Direct Messaging: Write private messages to other forum users.
• Replying to Topics: Navigate to the topic and scroll down to the reply box unless it is disabled by the moderator.
• Post in Public Groups: Publish your content unless it is disabled by the moderator.
• Comment in Public Groups: Write your comments to posts in Public Groups unless it is disabled by the moderator.
• Ability to Join Private Groups: Request access to the Group’s content from the Group’s administrator.
• Rate Replies on the Forum: Upvote or downvote replies in forum threads unless it is disabled by the moderator.

Navigating the Forum

The forum homepage displays:

• Forum categories: Click on a category to display all the topics under it.
• Pinned Topics
• Search Bar:  Type your query, and hit Enter

Groups and Activity Feed

Joining Groups: Go to Groups from your profile or main menu and join existing groups.

Activity Feed: Visit this page to get real-time updates on group activities, new posts, and more.

Profile Customization

Register here if you don’t have a bSI account yet.

Editing Profile

1. Hover over your username (or profile icon on mobile) in the top right corner of the screen and go to Profile page
2. To change your username, go to Account Settings > Change Username
3. To change your profile fields, go to Profile Settings > Edit Your Profile
4. To change your profile avatar, click on the profile avatar icon.
5. To adjust notifications settings, go to Account Settings > Notifications

Messaging Between Users

To send private messages to other users:

1. Go to Messages in your profile.
2. Click Compose and select the user you want to message.
3. Type your message and hit Send.
